Daniel is very excited to share the news that he was invited to participate in Landmark: the Fields of Photography exhibit presented by the Positive View Foundation. It was quite an honor for Daniel to be included amongst 70 highly regarded fine art photographers in an exhibit that was centered on the role of the environment in contemporary photography. The exhibition features three of his works – two from the Amazon, and one from the Gulf of Mexico SPILL series.
Daniel was able to attend the opening of the exhibit and enjoyed seeing old friends, while also making new connections with others who share his passion for our changing environment. The exhibit opened to very positive reviews, a few of which are here, here, here, here, and here (yikes!). Landmark was up on the walls of the stately Somerset House in London until April 28th.
These prints were auctioned off at Christie’s Auction House to benefit the Positive View Foundation on May 15th, which is noteworthy since Christie’s featured Daniel’s Spill #4 on the cover of the auction catalog (pictured above)
